The Teenage Wilderness Trust
Keeping Kids in Education since 2011...
The Teenage Wilderness Trust supports students who find it difficult to engage with mainstream education.
Often these students are unable to cope emotionally and physically with conventional education or authority due to their personal lives and social development.
Many have experienced verbal and physical abuse, or neglect and have never received the care and attention that children are entitled to.
In turn many of our students are angry, confused and feel let down.
Our goal is to calm our students, regain their self esteem and then reignite the spark in them to want to learn.
The Teenage Wilderness Trust working with Path Hill Outdoors aims to step in before alcohol, drugs and crime become an acceptable part of their lives.
We offer reengagement courses using bushcraft and wilderness learning techniques along with practical life skills to encourage students to get back to their learning, in turn giving them a better chance at a positive future.
Our goal is for students to develop self respect, respect for others and a desire to learn new and exciting skills designed to give them success in life.
The best way to understand the work of The Teenage Wilderness Trust is to watch our short films.
